My Cousin Erin's
SF Trip
Summer '98
As
her last fling before college and a graduation present to herself, my
cousin, Erin, came out to California to visit me. Yay! Erin
is a completely awesome person and although we can appear quite different
(especially by the clothes we wear), we think alot alike and we have
similar tastes. She's also very intelligent, fun, athletic, and
just a generally great person.
|
In
the first two days Erin was here we shopped. Oh boy, did we
shop. On the bright side it was mostly second hand stores,
so it was generally reasonably priced. This happened to be
from a hat store in Berkeley where we played around for a few minutes.
That's Erin, if you hadn't figured it out. |
|
And
look, here's me. With a hat. |
|
We
also went into SF a lot. This was from the Fisherman's Wharf
area. That's Alcatraz over our heads. |
|
Here's
a picture of me and Jared taken before we took Erin out for Sushi.
She'd not had it before. In fact, she had a lot of firsts
while she was here (eyebrow jewelry included, even though she took
it out later). |
 |
Here's
Erin with the Pacific Ocean in the background. We took a drive
a bit down the coast just to see some of views. We happened
to stop in this great place that had a little cove and a nice beach. |
 |
Here's
me and Erin at faire. She got to visit the day before she
left. And she got that great hat! |
 |
Okay,
another first for Erin, her first goth club. I got to dress
her all up (the skirt was hers) and take her out to meet my friends.
She looked great and had a great time. And after teaching
her how to fit in on the goth dance floor, I've decided to open
a school: "Wave your arms around alot, keep your feet in a line
and spin around slowly while flailing the arms about." |
 |
And
this is the best picture of me in goth clothing that I've ever seen!
So here we are, the cousins, lookin' all spooky. :-) |
